Eating habits are a major driver of illness today. Many in the Western World are overweight, nutritionally deficient, inflamed, allergic, and using caffeine for energy stimulation. Only a very small fraction of people can prevent or overcome illness without a healthy diet. Certainly others are exploring the impact of eating on wellbeing through the burgeoning field of nutrigenomics. Dean Ornish established the impact of diet, exercise and group support/meditation work on reversing heart disease in the 1970s; others have had similar results with prostate and breast cancer.

When you meet with our Nutritionists in a private room, (typically while you are having one of our many tailored intravenous therapies) following your consultation, the Nutritionist will review your case with the rest of Our Team to ensure collaboration with the rest of our practitioners, called Convergence Medicine (term coined by Dr. Ahvie Herskowitz) and Integrative Medicine – which is what our center is all about!

CERTIFIED NUTRITION CONSULTANTMarisol Kim is a Certified Nutrition Consultant, Applied Kinesiology Practitioner, and Nutrition Educator. She received her training and certification from Bauman College in Berkeley. She first witnessed the power of natural medicine at a very early age, when her grandfather healed her chronic digestive pain through acupuncture and natural medicine. Years later, as an adult, she began to suffer from ulcers, food sensitivities, allergies, and chronic digestion problems. Western medicine did not help her get to the root of the problem, so she turned to holistic nutrition with amazing and lasting success. This led to her life-long love affair with the healing power of food and natural medicine.

CNS CLINICAL NUTRITIONISTTodd is a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist® professional who holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College (where he graduated with honors), a Master of Arts degree in English from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Florida. Todd’s primary focus is assessing and addressing root causes of a wide variety of chronic systemic health disorders using an integrative and functional approach.
